Whole exome sequencing (WES)

A type of genetic test that analyzes the protein-coding regions of all genes in a person’s genome. Exons are the portions of genes that provide instructions for making proteins. WES can help identify genetic variations or mutations that may be responsible for certain disorders or conditions.
